Customer Reviews for
2004 World Series - Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
anticlimatic series
The story of 2004 was the Red Sox finally becoming World Champions ending the so called curse of the Bambino. This was a four game sweep and the Red Sox rode high with no let down after another amazing ALCS against the Yankees. Down three games to none and feeling like they were about to be swept away the Red Sox behind the clutch hitting of David Ortiz amazingly won the next four games to be the first team in any playoff series to come back from being down three games to none. For a Yankee fan like me this was extremely hard to stomach especially the bloody sock heroics of Curt Schilling.
The tape is rescued because of the coverage of the Yankee - Red Sox rivalry and the highlights of unbelievable ALCS. Members of the Red Sox Nation will love it. I am disappointed because the Yankees let a sure win slip away. Also it is kind of boring to watch the Red Sox steamroll the Cardinals and their star first baseman Albert Pujois. It was disappointing to see a good team like the Cardinals unravelled by the Red Sox.2004 World Series - Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
What does this thing have to do with hockey???
Try it, type "hockey" under DVD (new search) and this thing will appear on the 3rd or 4th page.
Has Amazon lost its marbles, balls or pucks again?
Why is it that when you type one thing, it takes you to another?
A new selling scheme?
Otherwise, this has nothing to do with a sport of finesse, grace, guts, power, skills and speed.. not to mention the coolest sport in the world.

What you can say as a Sox fun for after 81 years,
Just too short...should have had more footages and details against each opponents, especially against Yankees. Just shoulda had more details.2004 World Series - Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
What about Arroyo?
The real peeve that I have with this is it doesn't really highlight the pitching performances of Bronson Arroyo. He had a spectacular start in Boston for Game 3 of the Division Series, a miserable start against New York and then tremendous outings out of the bullpen. Maybe I'm just a Bronson Arroyo fan, but I think he deserves more credit than he got2004 World Series - Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
The NESN one is much better
This is one is OK, but if you are a Sox fan buy the NESN one.2004 World Series - Boston Red Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
