Just ok
This is essentially a two person play between roommates trapped by circumstances to live together. They are both actresses (which is a weakness since actors and actresses tend to put up with a lot more than normal people) who have the conflicting personalities. Nozomi is a neat freak and a small town actress who spent her formative years being told that she's great and will go places. R is an actress whose been around the block many times, dresses like a hooker and very well may have a familiarity with casting couches.
They fight for over an hour. For the first half the movie, it's the sniping passive aggressive fighting that roommates have endured since apartments first came with extra room and expensive rents. Who ate my eggs? Why did you use my shampoo? Did you get the call? Why do you think your pseudo boyfriend isn't calling you? He called me. Mostly it's R as the slob who is doing most of the antagonizing. She knows what makes Nozomi crazy and she manages to get under her skin.
The distinguishing mark of this movie is the fact that once they start fighting aggressive aggressively, it doesn't let up. Remember that scene in They Live when Rowdy Roddy Piper tries to get his friend to put on the glasses and his friend refuses and they pound on each other for 15 minutes? This is like that. Every time it looks like there's going to be a truce, someone grabs a knife or a toaster and it's off to the races all over again.
Fun movie. Good for what it is and it ends quickly. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it really had no ambition to be anything other than a two person play about roommates who hate each other and get violent.2LDK
can anyone say......CAT FIGHT!
I received this as a gift for either X-MAS or my Birthday
(does not really matter)and I must say WHAT A GIFT! You have
two girls that are roommates and are trying to star in the same
movie, this you find out in the first 2 min. and it just builds
up from there. We get old trophy photos ripped in half, pubes
in someone else's shampoo also stuff thrown at a Parrot(pooor
birdie)chainsaws-bath electrocution-punches to the face-and
knives to neck! This all happens in one night!?! Great movie!!!
If you thought the first 5 min. of Kill Bill was AWESOME?
WATCH THIS!!!
I give five sharp fingernail STARS for sure!
NOTE:For those of you who have roommates I suggest letting
them borrow what ever they want and suggesting they bring
it back anytime they want!!!!!2LDK
(Can you even spell ambitious?)
Hey, how are you? (Like I really care).
Thank you for reading my review (you stupid idiot).
This movie is so awesome (probably too cool for you).
It's about two hot Japanese chicks (trust me they're out of your league).
They're roommates (I wish they were lesbo lovers)
that can't get along (they have 24hr PMS).
This movie is so funny (like your face)
and action-packed (chick fights rule!).
4.5 Stars (Nudity would have made it 5 stars).
Thanks M (my sick gore bro)

Japanese chicks are hot.
This (2002) Japanese film is a high action drama with extreme elements and throws in a dash of black comedy for good measure.
The story is very simple, it's about two actresse's that live in the same apartment that are also competing for the same role and have two very different personalities. They are both veeeeeeeerrry extremely hot! I really love Japanese chicks..............mmmmmmmm.........Japanese chicks...................
Anyway, it all takes place in one night as the girls slowly get more and more irritated with each other until it turns to the point of violence. In between the girls dioluge with each other the directer let's you hear what the girls are thinking, and it add's an awesomely hilarious element to the flick.
2dlk moves at a very fast and exciting pace (with all the dioluge) that tops it all off with a bloody and ironic finale. I believe this is one of the most over-looked films of this decade and is extrtemely fun to watch. I'd advise anyone who has not seen this to at least give it a rent- I guarantee you will not be dissapointed.......no really, I guarantee it. WATCH THIS MOVIE!
*If there are any Japanese chicks reading this that live in Western Mass that like skinny metal-head horror fans, feel free to send me an E-mail. You better be hot though.

A STORY OF WOMEN
It begins like a tragi-comedy and ends in a manga style burst of violence. To rediscover. Now.2LDK
