Got your Area 51 facts straight? Your Kennedy conspiracy in order? Then why not adopt one of the more curious conspiracy theories: man never landed on the moon. Produced in 2001, this 47-minute documentary (which aired on the Fox network) has the "facts" to prove Apollo 11 went into space, but never to the moon. While the film starts a bit differently than most conspiracy videos (a Tower of Babel opening, a montage of rocket explosions scored to "Destination Moon"), the film soon goes fast and loose with the facts and quickly plays its "knockout" evidence. Writer-director-producer Bart Winfield Sibrel's first arguments play on hindsight: Kennedy (mired in conspiracy) set a goal of landing a man on the moon before the end of the decade; Nixon (mired in trickery) was in office to pull it off. When Sibrel examines iffy scientific principals (how deadly are Van Allen radiation belts?) and curious facts (Neil Armstrong's guarded private life--is he hiding something?), it puts just enough doubt in the viewer's mind. The vast array of photographic evidence seems sketchy (shadow irregularities easily explained by exposure settings), confusing (newly discovered shots from inside Apollo 11's capsule), and intriguing (shadow discrepancies). The production quality is not convincing, though, especially the odd way the film ends with a clip from the Zapruder film. The video cover is actually a shot from the Hollywood film Capricorn One, a much more fun way to tackle your space conspiracy theories. --Doug Thomas

The most damning piece of evidence ever on the Moon Hoax.
Sibrel's film is an artistic portrayal unlike any I've seen in a documentary film. The film begins with statements of absolutes, and then offers near the end, an inside look into how the missions were faked from the command module - the absolute proof that Apollo 11 did not go to the moon. But I have a different take on it. This footage was shot for another reason.
There the three men are, creating a lasting moment for television viewers - of which only 20 seconds was aired. They are caught lying about where the camera is. They are caught trying to pretend that the inside of their spacecraft is deep space itself, by zooming in from the other side of the CSM while claiming that they can't get near the window to see the Earth because the camera is in the way. There is much more here. I watched the DVD over and over, there was so much in this one scene alone to take in.
It is important to note that, [...], Sibrel has changed his mind about how they faked the Earth image. Apparently, he did not think it through as he should have. I think the website offers this DVD for free. Don't quote me on that.
I personally think we went, but buying this DVD was worth it because I
was forced to defend my beliefs against some very strong evidence when it came to the Apollo 11 footage.
I decided that they must have filmed this before the mission in case they died, because it's just too big of a screwup to be an actual part of the mission. I mean it's very bad, because they only had two more days to get to the moon - the film is from July 18th, and it proves they were not on their way to the moon when this footage was shot.
I'm guessing that, like Nixon, they made this in case they would die on the way. Five stars, despite my disagreement with Sibrel. This film is well worth the price for the historical footage it delivers.

Non sequiturs galore!
Whoever created this video knows nothing about physics or logic. This video will be enjoyed by any moron who sees a conspiracy under every rock. Anyone with a little common sense will see through all the non sequiturs and junk "science" this video presents. Don't waste your money or your time.A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon
Of course something smells rotten...
Only in America would we still be debating such things so many years after the occurrence. Average Joe America still hasn't accepted what happened at Pearl Harbor (FDR and his circle knew weeks, and perhaps months, in advance of the attack), at the end of WW2 (Stalin was right, Hitler escaped), with Vietnam (Gulf of Tonkin was a false flag operation), or with the JFK assassination (obviously not a lone sniper). Why should any serious, longstanding proof showing NASA's fraud, hoaxing, deception, and criminality change the dense minds of same said Americans? So much criminality and conspiracy can occur in this country precisely because of the ridiculous mindset of the people. In other countries the people ultimately have to be killed because they can't be completely fooled and silenced, but in the good old US of A the brainwashed sleepy sheeple will accept everything and anything from the media as dictated by the "Establishment", and then actually passionately defend such nonsense until their death. How ironic.
Anyway, in regards to this DVD, just watch the initial post Apollo 11 mission news conference footage with all three astronauts facing the well behaved and conditioned press. Look at their faces, their eyes, their reactions, their choice of words. Very, very telling and incongruent to say the least. They are dealing with BIG ISSUES, none of which were later revealed by NASA.
The way I see it, we have a few different possibilities:
1) The entire mission was hoaxed for a variety of reasons and the boys (especially Armstrong) is feeling guilty and dissappointed for lying to the American people. Certainly possible, but these are well trained military men, used to taking orders and keeping secrets, plus they are all high level Masons as were there fathers, so I think they could have sucked it up in front of the cameras a little better. Besides, they would have been proud to have completed the fraud for their higher-ups.
2) Many aspects of the Apollo 11 mission were a cover-up for a variety of reasons and the boys learned some info regarding superior Russian involvement, and thus were surprised and angry. Again possible, but the evidence points to much cooperation between the USA and USSR, and the astronauts would have been privy to this obviously. The Cold War was fabricated and there was much more glasnost than we were told.
3) The boys were an intentional decoy all along and in orbit of Earth the entire time of the Apollo 11 mission (which is at least partly proven in this DVD), and the real astronauts going to the moon (probably in other craft) got killed by the deadly radiation or by OTHER FACTORS, thus the boys were shocked and grieving for their lost comrads (a la Gus Grissom). I think we're closer to the truth with these ideas.
4) The boys or other astronauts went to the moon, albeit in different craft with different equipment, and saw something that shocked and really scared them. Being scared is the key here, and what things would really scare a well trained, hardened military man, who is a Mason and very familiar with secrecy and national security issues, and who has probably seen or at least been debriefed on the UFO problem? The only things that make sense (and are obliquely mentioned by the boys themselves in tapes made by amateur radio operators who followed the mission directly that day and not through the mainstream NASA coverage) are either massive human occupation of the moon (of which the boys were not privy for some reason) or massive non-human occupation (of which the boys had severely underestimated). I suggest this because the boys mentioned massive spaceships lined up on the horizon of the moon watching and intimidating them. Could have been the Russians I suppose, or could have been the surviving Nazis with their high tech, or could have been another competing faction of the American military establishment (the nsa?), or could have been ancient peoples either originally from the moon or elsewhere, or could have been so-called Aliens.
I don't claim to know what really happened, but the truth is somewhere in the preceding sentences. Regardless of what scenario occured, something smells rotten in Houston and has since the 1960s (or much earlier). Let's wake up from our hypnotic slumber and discover the Truth.

Fun if you don't know how to critically evaluate a question.
I admit, I like to collect conspiracy theories, and the Apollo Hoax conspiracy is good one.
For those who don't understand the nature of science and engineering, and those who don't know how to critically evaluate an argument, this film might appear to be a smoking gun. For everyone else, this is an entertaining 45 minutes that is trying to pass itself off as information.
Misinterpreted (or misunderstood) data and unsubstantiated claims follow one after the other as the filmmakers attempt to blow the lid off of a hyped-up media creation by using their own hyped-up media creation.
Even more entertaining is "What happened on the Moon", in which the filmmakers use as evidence of the hoax factual errors not from the actual mission transcripts, but rather from the movie "Apollo 13" and the TV series "From the Earth to the Moon". The Truth will set you Free
Some will choose to believe a lie. Why, ultimately it is because we want to belong and fill a part of something big and important. It helps when those in authority such as teachers, news commentators and representatives tell us what all sensible people are suppose to believe.
This video helps to answer some of the uneasy questions we have about the myth put out by the party line.
