A slightly better movie than you might think, this variation on The Karate Kid finds three youngsters helping out their grandfather in his fight against evil ninja warriors. The real secret weapon here is director Jon Turtletaub, paying some dues on this 1992 family feature; he's since gone on to direct John Travolta in Phenomenon and Sandra Bullock in While You Were Sleeping. --Tom Keogh

3 Ninjas
3 Ninjas!
Talk about blast from the past! If you grew up in the 90's, "3 Ninjas" is sure to bring you back to those lazy Sundays where you just sat home and watched HBO while eating Ramen Noodles.
If you've never seen this movie before, this line from the back of the dvd case will be sure to hook you in:
"After an organized crime ring proves to be too much for the FBI--it's time for the 3 Ninjas!" Keep in mind, the 3 Ninjas are three pre-pubescent, suburban brothers. If that doesn't intrigue you, I don't know what will. And if you like this movie, check out the movie "Surf Ninjas". But don't take it from me! (cue "Reading Rainbow" transition music)
3 Ninjas
Ninja verses Ninja
Aki Jitsu in the movie was remarkable good. The fight scenes were impressive. Comedy was good, surpassing "Home alone", with surfer dud villians. The element of "Karate Kid" has you cheering for grandpa, as he fights, too the death with Synder. The empty hand fight scenes seem reasonable and Tae Kwon Do kicking sequence performed masterfully. My favorite line was "We don't want to hurt you. We just want to kidnap you." Second favorite line, "Now, Fester don't mess this up, or we will have to kill you."3 Ninjas
3 Ninjas is a great movie
I was on the hunt for this DVD for years. I knew about amazon before, but had never purchased anything. Once I visited, and saw that 3 Ninjas was available, I just had to get it. It did not take long to receive my package, and it works fine.3 Ninjas
Kids like to watch it over-and-over
My girls (ages 6 and 8) enjoy this movie and have watched it multiple times over the last few weeks. A good choice if you like movies such as "Spy Kids", "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl", and the classic "Witch Mountain" films.3 Ninjas
Such a great movie!
I purchased this movie for my two younger twin brothers (6 years old), who have been bugging me to death to find it for them. Turns out, it was well worth it. I purchased this movie, as well as the Trilogy set with the other three, and my brothers watched all of these movies day after day. They couldn't get enough of the 3 Ninjas!! They were quoting scenes from the movie and it was so cute! A great movie for young children! I recommend it, as I watched it while I was growing up and this movie is something that you can never forget! = )3 Ninjas
