Abductors
Better than the first
After watching the second installment, "The abductors" of the Ginger series I am tempted to go back to "Ginger" and lower the rating from 2 to one stars. This movie is far superior to the first, much better in all aspects. It is rare indeed when a sequel is better than the original, but hey, it happens. This film is better acted, better choreographed, has better villains and better everything! It's even sexier.
Ginger, our spy extraordinaire, is back at it again. She has to find the goods on a sorta prostitution ring (where they sell...mistresses). This movie brings back Jason, her boss who has the hots for her, and introduces a female agent, Carter. Cheri Caffaro (Ginger) was so much better that it makes me think she took extra acting classes. Even the actor playing Jason is better. The cast is more relaxed, more fun and entertaining. Now, this is now a better B movie. Ginger remains as much as a sadistic tease as ever...and then she dances...What's up with the obligatory dance in this movies? It doesn't work when you have no coordination and can't dance!
Anyways, this is a much better film than the first one. A step well above. Oh yeah, and lots of sex scenes, so not for the easily offended, fundamentalist, children, or the weak of heart.Abductors
Skin Flick: This Film Delivers!
I was greatly surprised and pleased! Gorgeous girls everywhere, stripped naked! Lots of nudity! A funny plot! A true Skin Flick! BUY it! The dubbing of the Audio is terrible, but funny! The Visuals are FANTASTIC!! Gorgeous Girls naked! Need more? Buy it, you won't be sorry!!Abductors
Delightful Sleaze and B-Movie Values
An open affront to all things politically correct, this movie has many things going for it, none of them good save for the fact that it is an open affront to all things politically correct. Amazingly exploitative of women, "The Abductors" is impossible to take seriously as a white slavery film because the abducted women never seem to be in any real danger. Ginger (the "female James Bond") and her boss are laughably incompetent, but the villains are even worse. Continuity errors abound, and the acting is frequently so bad your jaw drops in wonder. Which is why I recommend this film. It fails so completely at what it tries to do that it's actually fun to watch. Long after the sex scenes become boring you will find yourself laughing anew at some production blunder you missed before, some poor bit actor giving impossibly silly lines with his pants down, and a final scene whose melodramatic badness is just beyond my ability to describe.Abductors
I thought this movie was great!
I got this movie on a whim. It's not the sort of movie I usually get, but I was pleasantly surprised. After seeing it, I tried to find one like it,.. but other titles don't quite capture the same essence.Abductors
So sleazy you actually giggle at some points!
Sleazy 70s exploitation film with some panache features super-agent Ginger chasing down white slavers. Ample sex and violence will please certain contingents while semi-feminist heroine, campy dialogue will satisfy others.Abductors
